Tim Baker is a New York-based writer and editor whose work has been featured by outlets including Newsweek, CBS Sports, Discovery, TV Guide and various others. He earned an MFA in creative writing (poetry) from The New School in 2015 and was that year's runner-up for the Paul Violi Poetry Prize. He is currently a Senior Editor with Newsweek Special Editions and in the process of writing a book of prose poetry, They Say It's Nice This Time of Year.
